Elijah Rain Ministries is directed by Mark Sandford, M.Div., in partnership with his wife, Maureen. Mark is an author, international speaker, and pastoral counselor with over 40 years of experience. Our teachings are built on the foundational work of Mark's parents, John and Paula Sandford, and have been continually refined through decades of hands-on ministry.

Our core methods for inner healing and deliverance and our teachings on the prophetic and other subjects are firmly grounded in biblical doctrine and the transformative work of the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to call hearts to repentance, healing, and reconciliation through a balanced, accountable, biblically sound, and Holy Spirit-led approach to spiritual growth and ministry.

Meet the Teacher

Mark Sandford

Mark Sandford directs Elijah Rain Ministries with the help of his wife, Maureen. He brings over 40 years of experience as an author, international speaker, and pastoral counselor, with a Master of Divinity in counseling. Mark has authored Turning the Hearts of Fathers and co-authored four influential books, including Deliverance and Inner Healing. He and Maureen are dedicated to bringing inner healing and prophetic understanding to the Body of Christ. They share a passion for training leaders and restoring hearts.

Healing Depression

In the first two videos, Mark shares how to avoid the pain-inflicting mistakes of Job’s well- meaning friends and how to approach depression as sensitively as young Elihu, with practical suggestions for how to interact with a depressed person. In the last two videos, Jeff Crum joins Mark in a discussion of how to heal depression, sharing their own struggles and how inner healing lifted the dark cloud.

Healing Anxiety

Disempowered children bury their pain and bitterness and grow up to become disempowered adults. When present events trigger long-buried emotions, the pain and bitterness can erupt in the form of anxiety. Inner healing reveals roots of bitterness, cancels their influence through the power of the cross, reveals the hidden pain that was never dealt with, and resolves it so it can no longer turn into anxiety.
